The Ember Kitchen Cook Stand is a sturdy flat packing base for pans, griddles, dutch ovens, grills or any other fire safe cooking surface. Our stand sits directly in the fire, where you tend embers at the base to create a stable, heat regulated cooking area.

We use heavy duty 3/16” plate steel for the three piece set in order to ensure you’ll be cooking with Ember for generations. The whole set including carry case and cutting board comes in at about 16 Lbs.

We designed Ember Kitchen Cook Kit to be very easy to use. Once you have a fire going, just slip the two Fire cook stand legs together and place it in the fire place close to the heat. When you’re done cooking, remove the components from the coals and let them cool till they are easy to handle with your bare hands. This could be upon to half hour. When you’re ready to pack up, make sure your Cook Stand is cool to the touch before storing it in the carry case.

We recomend storing your Ember Kitchen Cook Kit in our carry case between uses. If left out in the elements overnight, the metal can rust between uses. Just as a good cast iron pan would.  But don’t worry - once you you get it back in the fire - the rust will easily scrape away with a wire grill brush.

Just like any good cast iron pan, we recomend scrubbing off any food remnants between uses (once it has had time to cool) and giving the Grill and Cook Stand a light coating of neutral oil to prevent oxidation. Apply oil to a paper towel or rag, and rub it on.

Right now typical lead time is about 2-3 weeks from the time your order is placed, to the time it is shipped. This time will get better as we build our inventory.

We are confident we have made a pretty great product for people who love building fires and cooking outdoors. If during the lifetime of your product something bends, warps or breaks, please let us know and we will happily send you a replacement part.
